Red Tour Additional Information
Our first stop on the Red Tour is Uçhisar Castle, the highest fairy chimney in the Cappadocia region. Here your guide will give you information about how this castle was formed.
Göreme Open Air Museum, where you will discover 10th and 11th century monasteries and churches with frescoes depicting the importance of Christianity and monastic life in Cappadocia.
You will be able to visit the old city of Cavusin, which was abandoned during the exchange between the Russians and the Turks in 1924. You will enjoy taking pictures with the historical texture of this city.
Our next stop is Avanos, which consists of two separate banks divided by the Kizilirmak river. Here you will enjoy lunch with Cappadocia dishes with a menu consisting of meat dishes, salads, appetizers and desserts.
The red clay from the Kizilirmak river was processed by the Hittites and used to make bowls. You will be able to visit the Pottery Workshops, which continue as an art today.
A small presentation will be given to you by our masters in the shop and you will be able to make your own works if you wish.
You will be able to visit the multi-headed mushroom fairy chimneys and St. Siemon Chapel by walking the small paths in Pasabagi.
You will be able to see the famous Camel-shaped fairy chimney in Devrent Valley, which is called the valley of dreams, and many fairy chimneys that you can imagine with your imagination. If you have a strong imagination, you can create different shapes.

Kayseri Airport is located near Cappadocia, in the province of Kayseri, which you can reach with a 40-minute drive.
